Hair Tools FAQ
How to Get the Best From Your CHI Flat Iron
The CHI Flat Iron is simpler and quicker to use than most styling tools Its ergonomic design, 10ft of swivel head cable make sit easy to handle and operate. Ideal for all hair types including ethnic hair.
Take small sections of hair and slide one plate of the CHI straightener under the hair, close to the root but without letting the straightener touch the scalp. Close the plates and slide the straightener down the length of the hair. Go slowly for curlier hair but be careful not to burn the hair.
For shorter hair, lift the hair right up and pull the straightener vertically through the hair. After using the CHI hair straightener, allow the hair to cool before brushing or combing to ensure the style stays in longer.
You can use the CHI flat iron as a curling tool by winding the hair around the plate, again starting close to the roots and allowing the heat to curl the hair--being careful not to burn the hair.
